Architecture Directorate practical exam result published, 53 selected for viva
The result of the practical examination for the post of 'Office Assistant cum Computer Typist' at the Department of Architecture has been published. A total of 53 candidates have been selected for the oral, or viva, examination in this test.
The result and the next instructions were published through a notice signed by Biswajit Barua, president of the department's divisional recruitment committee and additional chief architect.
The notice said the place and detailed schedule of the oral examination for candidates who passed the practical test will be published later on the official website of the Department of Architecture.
Selected candidates will therefore have to keep a regular eye on the department's website, so that they learn the viva date and centre information in time.
On the scheduled day of the oral examination, candidates have been instructed in the notice to be present at the centre at least one hour before the examination begins.
Examinees must bring their own admit card with them. The importance of this instruction is high precisely because there will be no opportunity to take part in the viva without the admit card.
The practical examination was an important step in this recruitment process, because for the post of Office Assistant cum Computer Typist, real computer and typing skill is the main basis of the work.
Having crossed that step, 53 candidates now face the final stage. In the oral examination, their presentation, communication skill and suitability for the post will be assessed.
Competition in the job market is increasing, and so are the challenges for job seekers. In such a situation, news of every step of recruitment in a government institution carries special importance for candidates.
Getting a desired job requires proper preparation, increasing skill and knowing timely information — with the publication of this result, a new phase of that preparation has begun for those selected.
Now the wait is for the viva schedule. As soon as the schedule is published, the selected 53 will have to be present at the designated centre, at least one hour before the scheduled time, with their admit cards.
