AI Products Steal the Show at Canton Fair, More Than 250,000 Artificial Intelligence Products
The 140th session of the world-famous ‘Canton Fair’ is under way in full splendour in Guangzhou city, China. Organised in three phases, this international trade fair will run until 4 November. Saturday was the third day of the fair. This time, a special exhibition of ever-new artificial intelligence, or AI-driven, products at the fair has surprised everyone.
Those involved believe these modern technology-based products have infused new momentum into increasing China’s world trade and exports. At this year’s fair, organised as a memento of the 70th anniversary of its founding, more than 235,000 AI-driven products are being exhibited.
In addition, more than 20,000 exhibiting organisations have applied various kinds of modern technology in their innovations. Long queues of visitors were noticed at the AI product stalls, from which it is understood that this technology is at the centre of buyers’ and visitors’ interest this time.
The innovations exhibited at the Canton Fair are bringing positive changes to people’s way of life. Max Young, coming to the fair for the third time, this time brought along his ailing mother. Coming to enjoy the bustling atmosphere of the trade fair, they faced an unexpected experience — at the fair they came across an advanced ‘exoskeleton robotic device’.
His mother, Susan Elliot, who had difficulty walking since suffering a stroke, was able to stand up and walk on her own with the help of this robotic device. Moved, Susan said, ‘It is keeping my legs active. Truly, it is wonderful.’
This single incident makes it clear that this year’s fair’s technology is not confined to the exhibition tables — it is also directly serving to solve problems in people’s daily lives. This time, the use of AI in products across sectors, starting from healthcare, has been especially noticeable.
This exhibition, considered the main ‘thermometer’ of China’s foreign trade, has brought about a unique blend of innovation, artificial intelligence, specialised products and advanced quality. As a result, the fair’s importance to buyers around the world has increased further.
The Canton Fair has further consolidated its position as a unique world stage for sourcing world-class, state-of-the-art technology products from one place, conveniently and efficiently. With the three-phase event running until 4 November, in the remaining days all eyes will be on more new products and business deals.
